Highlight
The 400GBASE-SR8 OSFP Finned Top optical transceiver is a high-performance module designed for short-reach 400GbE applications over multimode fiber (MMF).
It supports eight parallel lanes of 53.125Gb/s PAM4 for an aggregate data rate of 400Gb/s.
Operating at 850nm, it uses a VCSEL laser array and PIN photo-detector array to achieve up to 70m on OM3 and 100m on OM4 fiber.
The module features an MPO-16 APC or dual MTP-12 APC connector, and complies with IEEE802.3cm 400GBASE-SR8 and OSFP MSA standards.
The finned-top housing provides enhanced thermal management, making it ideal for AI clusters, HPC networks, and high-density data centers with breakout support to 2×200G-SR4.
