The AI-5 fusion splicing machine uses a four-motor core alignment system that allows fast 8s splice time and 18s heat time, supporting about 160 splice/heat cycles per charge. Efficient performance helps save engineers’ working time.
Core Alignment Technology
Equipped with advanced core/cladding alignment and real-time ARC calibration, providing more precise splicing with lower splice loss compared to cladding-only alignment. Typical splice loss: 0.02 dB (SM), 0.01 dB (MM), 0.04 dB (DS/NZDS).
3-in-1 Fiber Holder
The versatile fiber holder supports SM (G.652 & G.657), MM (G.651), DS (G.657), NZDS (G.655), as well as bare fiber, pigtail, jumper, and drop cable. Cladding diameter range: 80–150 μm.
Clear LCD & Long Battery Life
