Highlight
The 400GBASE-SR8 QSFP-DD optical transceiver is a high-performance, short-reach module designed for 400GbE, 200GbE SR4 breakout, and 8×50GbE SR applications over multimode fiber (MMF).
It supports 8 parallel lanes of 53.125 Gb/s PAM4, providing an aggregate bandwidth of 400 Gb/s.
Operating at 850 nm, the module uses a VCSEL laser array and PIN photo-detector array to achieve up to 70 m on OM3 and 100 m on OM4 fiber.
It complies with IEEE 802.3cm 400GBASE-SR8 and QSFP-DD MSA, featuring digital diagnostics via I²C.
The MPO-24 connector supports direct 400G links or breakout to 2×200G SR4 or 8×50G SR channels, making it ideal for AI clusters and high-density data centers.
