The 400GBASE-SR4 OSFP Flat Top optical transceiver is a high-performance, hot-pluggable module designed for short-reach 400GbE applications over multimode fiber (MMF).
It supports four parallel channels of 106.25Gb/s PAM4 for an aggregate data rate of 400Gb/s.
Operating at 850nm, it uses a VCSEL laser array and PIN photodiode array, achieving link distances up to 30m over OM3 and 50m over OM4 fiber.
The module adopts an MPO-12/APC connector and complies with IEEE802.3db and OSFP MSA, supporting digital diagnostics via the I²C interface.
It is ideal for high-density 400G Ethernet, AI clusters, and top-of-rack interconnects in data centers.
